We who are in the ‘business’ of life celebrations are so lucky. We get to play a part in some of the most important moments of peoples’ lives and we get to celebrate life and love with each and every event.

The parasol is an ancient symbol of the Godesses' love and protection for all. So even though I no longer work at the actual wedding events, in my way I get to play a role that I hope matters. I am still honored to be able to bring some of that universal love and comfort [with style] to weddings all over the world, to be a small part of a wedding celebration - a day that is memorable for all the right reasons.

With much love and respect to all of the people in America’s special events industry on this the anniversary of 9/11 and especially to those who are a part of any celebration today be it a memorial or commemorative day for the past and for those lost or a day of celebrating the future and love, I give you my respect and gratitude.

Thank you to MeWha Photography for one of my favorite photos of all time- the couple in Times Square New York City. We love New York and America.

Glittering Conscience - NYC loves Pamela's Parasols green parasols!

Pamela's Parasols has been invited to participate in an exciting shopping venue; Glittering Conscience a temp store in SOHO New York City that carries only eco friendly luxury items..well that's right up our alley for the latest additions to our organics collection....the "burlap hearts", "green Love", "green green" and my fave the "trashy heart NY Times edition" - at left - with a big heart made from recycled New York Times embellished with recycled paper, burlap scraps, tin foil and other clean trash:)

German Vogue

Watch for Pamela's Parasols' Anna in the February or March issue of German Vogue. International Stylist for Vogue, Anatolli Smith, loved the Anna with its vintage creamy color, hand tea-dyed Chantilly lace overlay, Alencon lace border and sexy eyelash length blusher veil. German Vogue was doing a photo shoot in LA the week of December contacted Pamela's Parasols for props, and we were happy to accommodate! We can't wait to t see how they use the Anna!

Premier Bride Magazine Cover!

We are proud to have made the cover of Premier Bride Magazine's amazing 2010 edition! Premier Bride went to Venice, Italy and the Greek Islands to shoot their latest bridal fashions and of course they took Pamela's Parasols with them:)! The shoot featured one of our new veiled collection with a full length real Illusion tuille tailored veil attached to a hand painted parasol embelisshed with coutuire flowers, parasol shown is the new "Poppy Field" in white. San Diego Style Weddings Magazine shoot

A huge thanks to the lovely and popular local magazine San Diego Style Weddings who featured our Recycled DIY Parasol as a great way to close out their 2010 magazine. The final full page of the magazine featured this gorgeous image and recommended brides to recycle their bridal magazines into a timeless and fun keepsake for a walk down memory lane anytime it's sunny outside! The photo shoot by local artist Garrett Delph of Garrett Photography was, as usual creative, fun, sexy and fresh!

Photog Shootout wants Pamela's Parasols

The San Diego Photog Shootout, a day of professional photographers shooting models, networking and having an awful lot of fun, will use Pamela's Parasols for their props come January 23, 2010 at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum in Encintas. Their theme this time is Pin Up Girls so we know we can accomodate! Like with our Pantaloons style at right photographed by 1 Look Back.

Right back at ya! Big thanks to newlyweds Charis and Lorenza Simmons from Atlanta! They used their Pamela's Parasol "Thank You" parasol printed on a postcard with fabulous and heartfelt images from their wedding day, which was obviously filled with love, joy and celebration, to say it all. What a great way to thank all your guests and vendors after the big day!

We are so excited to introduce the first ever Boudoir Parasol Collection...these parasols are fun, sweet, sexy, wild and perfect for Boudoir photography!
